LDS Test and Measurement Marker1M Overview
Based on the concept of a mainframe with plug-in modules, the Genesis offers a wealth of capabilities. Up to 128 channels can be installed within a rack mainframe (56 channels in the portable tower mainframe), and multiple mainframes can be combined to an even larger system. Up to 400 MegaSample memory per board allows for high definition transient capture. Built-in data transfer acceleration gives you an overview of MegaSamples of data within seconds. And with the best performance signal conditioning and 16-bit accuracy, Genesis is the right solution for your difficult measurement task.
General Genesis features:
- Combines transient recorder and streaming data acquisition capabilities
- Programmable high-performance signal conditioning
- Sample rates from 200 kS/s to 100 MS/s per channel
- Transient RAM to 400 MS per card, 12.8 GB per System max
- Tower mainframe with 7 slots or rack version with 16 slots
- Multi mainframe operation for unlimited channel count
- Unlimited recording size and duration
- IRIG and GPS time code options
- Local SCSI drive storage for safety critical applications
As a special input board, the binary marker input enables up to 64 digital channels to be recorded as well. This board can be used to record status signals from the process or test, like high/low, open/closed or left/right.
Transient recording features:
- Hardware trigger on all channels with hysteresis, delay and advanced features
- Large transient memory: up to 1 minute capture at 1 MS/s on all channels, or even more than 5 minutes at 200 kS/s
- Segmented sweeps with no dead time
- Fast scope display
- Pre-trigger recording
- Local hard disk backup option
