 The precisionWave p1511A RF Vector Signal Generator is an economical, focused performance, modulated or CW source covering the 800-1000 MHz and 1700–2200 MHz cellular bands.

The p1511A powerful I and Q waveform generator produces high-accuracy signals for any digital modulation scheme used in the covered bands (e.g. EDGE, GSM, IS-95, WCDMA, etc.).

The signal generator has a wide power output range, -100 dBm to +20 dBm, with excellent harmonic and spurious suppression.

It has fast frequency and power settling times, coupled with excellent phase noise performance.

The 7” active matrix TFT LCD display is crisp and bright, with an easy-to-use touch panel for intuitive instrument control without mouse, stylus or keyboard (though these may be used if desired).

The exclusive precisionWave Spectrum Analyzer display (patent-pending) shows the signal being generated without tying up an expensive spectrum analyzer. Used in preview mode, the Spectrum Analyzer feature assures proper IQ waveform selection prior to output.

The standard LAN programming interface with a robust and intuitive API speeds and simplifies development of automated R&D or Manufacturing software applications within Microsoft Visual Studio environments.

The p1511A is identical to the precisionWave p1411A RF Vector Signal Generator, except that the p1511A has enhanced spurious, phase noise, EVM and Phase Error performance.
