Product Description

Com-Power PC-113

Com-Power's PC-113 is a pre-compliance test system
for in-house EMI emissions testing. This system can test electronic products for compliance with various
regulatory agency requirements; such as FCC (USA),
CE (Europe), DO-160 (FAA), VCCI (Japan), AS/NZS
(Australia) and Industry Canada. With the PC-113,
engineers can troubleshoot and modify the product to
make it compliant with these requirements before
gong to a test lab; minimizing costly time at a test lab.
The PC-113 can perform radiated and conducted emissions
measurements. The heart of the PC-113 system
is the SA-512 Digital Spectrum Analyzer. The analyzer
in combination with the biconical and log periodic
antennas, is capable of performing far field radiated
emissions scans from 30 MHz - 1000 MHz. Once
the problem frequencies are located with the far field
scan, the near field probe set can be used to identify the
trace or pin on the PCB that is radiating the problem
frequencies. The system also includes a LISN for
conducted emissions measurement and a comb generator
for quick test site verification. The spectrum
analyzer output can be captured by connecting a PC to
the analyzer's RS-232 interface and using the Windows
compatible software shipped with the system to
analyze, store and print the data.
Optional items include an optical PC interface cable,
a transient limiter, and a cable kit.

The PC interface software SW5012 provides the following
features:

Average, peak and quasi peak values with
corresponding cursors.
Storage of reference spectra for comparison.
Freely definable limit lines.
Indication of above limit signals.
Allows correction factor input.
Script-control for automatic measurements.
