Tempo OFM20 - 850MM50 Overview

850 nm model with 50 micron core.

The OFM20 is a unique OTDR designed to operate in the low wavelength region (630 to 1060 nm) with unprecedented sensitivity and resolution. It can be operated in the Fresnel mode to detect return losses as low as -90 dB with single point resolution of a few millimeters. Alternatively, it can be used in the Rayleigh mode to asses minute losses and features otherwise undetectable, here with cm resolution. In the Rayleigh mode measurements are possible on fiber lengths as short as 1 m. This allows for measurements to be performed on most pigtailed components.
