GAO Tek GAO6130 Overview

This TDR test port is used to transmit electrical pulses to determine cable faults such as short circuits, open circuits, or high resistance joints. The pulse propagates with the specific speeds of various cable types. The GAO6130 can find faults automatically and show the distance of the fault. It uses time domain reflection technology and software to determine the status of the cable. The GAO6130 CATV TDR (Cable Fault Locator) can test cables of 25, 50, 75, and 100 Ohm impedance, and more than 2 km in length with high accuracy.
