GAO6130 - GAO Tek TDR

Get Quote

  • Model: GAO6130
  • Manufactured by: GAO Tek
  • Max. Range: 6561
  • Pulse Width Max.: n/a
  • Pulse Width Min.: n/a
  • Extra Specifications: CATV Meter: TDR (Cable Fault Locator GAO6130)

This TDR test port is used to transmit electrical pulses to determine cable faults such as short circuits, open circuits, or high resistance joints. The pulse propagates with the specific speeds of various cable types. The GAO6130 can find faults automatically and show the distance of the fault. It uses time domain reflection technology and software to determine the status of the cable. The GAO6130 CATV TDR (Cable Fault Locator) can test cables of 25, 50, 75, and 100 Ohm impedance, and more than 2 km in length with high accuracy.

(Not available in North America.)

  • Powerful analysis functions, using a double cursor display
  • Maximum range of 2000 meters
  • Intuitive electronics map relative to the time domain picture for easy fault detection
  • Can be connected to a PC to upload files for data analysis
  • Widely used in testing cable under the ground, and in finding the impedance break point in HFC system such as cable damage, tie-in dampness, and terminal impedance failure
  • "Self-study" function: After calibrating and testing a specific cable of a particular length, the unit can accurately retest similar cables
  • Measurable object: 25, 50, 75, and 100 Ohm coaxial cables
  • Range of measurement: 15 m ~ 2000 m
  • Accuracy: ±1 m ± 1%
  • Resolution: 1 m CATV TDR
